Project Gallery: Apartment Set-up, Bethel ME

When a new teacher landed his first job at a private school in the Maine mountains, he had no idea how he'd manage to get his school-provided-housing apartment furnished and ready for his move from Boston -- given that he didn't have his own car, nor were there any big box stores where he would be moving to.

After our client's family hired us to transform the empty apartment space into a cozy home -- we worked with the school to gain early access to the apartment, petition for a paint color change in the bedroom (wow, that yellow!), furnish the apartment, and stock it with all the household essentials; from dishes and cookware, to paper towels and cleaning supplies.

The design concept inspired by the California beaches was requested by our client, to create a vibe that reminded him of where he grew up on the west coast.
