Project Gallery: Salt Air House (airbnb), Hampton, NH

In 2022 a real estate investor, tired of his poor experience as a landlord with bad tenants, decided to make the jump into short-term rentals.  We were hired to transform his house on the NH Seacoast into a successful vacation rental.  Not far from the ocean; we named it Salt Air House after the amazing and unmistakable smell outdoors.

Creating a coastal-inspired design concept rooted in the house's architecture and location, we designed the house for families and included a dedicated kid's bedroom. 

 

Partnering with the owner to creatively stretch his budget; we sourced many 'big ticket' furniture items from FB marketplace, which he picked up and moved into the house.  We also helped oversee his painting & flooring sub-contractors onsite; providing direction and oversight as we navigated through some challenges.

 

We also enjoyed leaning into the slightly retro feel to the home, accenting the big stone fireplace and vintage kitchen cabinets with fun nautical antiques.​
