Project Gallery: Man Cave Basement Renovation, Westbrook ME

The GC (+ carpenter) for this project reached out when it quickly became clear that the homeowner needed some help creating a vision and solidifying a design plan to transform his empty basement into a game room and home bar.

Requesting a blend of modern + rustic aesthetics; we paired cool grays with warm wood tones and blue accents.  Featuring wood-look chevron tile flooring, blue glass mosaic backsplash tile, a custom built bar capped with a maple live-edge waterfall bar top, matching live-edge shelving throughout the room, and accent walls to add visual interest -- this basement lounge feels both high-end and cozy.

​This project was a pleasure to work on; we enjoyed a collaborative approach and ongoing 3-way communication between myself, the GC, and the homeowner through which decisions were made and communicated efficiently.
