Project Gallery: Dated Condo Renovations, Dover NH

Hilary bought this dated 1980s condo on the New Hampshire Seacoast as her first home (and real estate investment).  No surface went untouched; from re-painting and new flooring, to kitchen and bathroom gut renovations -- Hilary modernized this condo on a 'first time homeowner's budget'.

On the main level Hilary changed the floor plan by opening up the wall between the small kitchen and narrow living room, which made for a much improved natural flow and gave easy access to the kitchen, rather than having to travel all the way around the long way.

With a focus on adding warmth and character throughout this otherwise boxy, boring middle-unit townhouse condo; Hilary opted for warm-tone flooring and vibrant yet soothing paint colors throughout.  She added an accent wall in the entryway, and built a fireplace wall in the living room with an electric fireplace insert which not only added cozy ambiance, but gave the living room a focal feature which dramatically improved the aesthetic and feel.
