Design Concepts

Starting with your style + preferences, we'll develop multiple design moodboards to hone in on what feels right to you. This process can be collaborative, or we can simply curate + present options to you to choose from.

When done in advance of the building/remodeling process -- having your defined design concept will help you make design decisions every step along the way -- without feeling rushed or scattered.

House Floor Plans

If you're building new construction, you have the opportunity to completely customize your home's layout to work for you. Whether modifying stock house plans or working with your architect; we help you think through the uses & features of all your spaces, creating the perfect layout + flow, and helping to define placement for windows/doors, electrical fixtures, floor vents, etc.

Note: we don't do architectural drawings or advise on structural building elements

Materials/Colors Selection

From shopping & gathering samples, to final decision making -- for personal residences, we're happy to work alongside you collaboratively to create your dream space, OR we can streamline this phase of the project to take this work off your plate for those less personally involved (spec houses, rentals, flips, etc).

We can work within any budget and will always find great options in your price range.

Project Management

Don't want to deal with placing/tracking orders & being onsite for deliveries? Can't always be available during the day for your contractors?

For clients who want the extra onsite support during renovations, we can help. Hire us in whatever supporting capacity you need -- from visiting stores & placing orders, to being onsite for templating/measuring appointments and materials deliveries.

We can also assist with communicating with your builder/contractors and be a resource to help solve problems and make key design decisions on the fly.

With a focus on furnishings, decor, and decorative finishes -- we'll develop multiple design moodboards to hone in on an aesthetic you love. This process can be collaborative, or we can simply curate + present options to you to choose from.

Before starting to shop for furnishings and making 'one-off' purchases -- this process will help organize and streamline the search for the right items; ensuring the finished space is perfectly cohesive.

Furniture Layouts

For new construction, we'll help you take advantage of the opportunity to design your home's layout to fit your existing or future/dream furniture.

For existing challenging spaces, we will help work within the room's constraints to optimize the layout + flow.

Our simple 2D furniture layouts make decisions about room layouts much easier; removing the guesswork and allowing you to shop for furnishings based on dimensions.

Furniture/Decor Shopping

Shopping can be time-consuming, but decision-making is often the hardest part. For your personal spaces, hire us to narrow down the endless options out there; curating and presenting to you a few of the best products we can find that meet the criteria we're looking for.

For furnished rentals & other less-personal spaces, we can streamline this process -- shopping for & making decisions/purchases on your behalf.

We can work within any budget and will always find beautiful, quality options in your price range; whether we're shopping at Target, Wayfair, or Pottery Barn (or a mix of all 3).

Purchasing + Logistics

Don't want to deal with placing/tracking orders & going back-&-forth to stores with returns? For clients who want the extra assistance, we're happy to visit stores, deal with salespeople, place online orders, and manage/track deliveries on your behalf.

For out-of-state clients, we even offer the option to have items shipped to our residence first, before consolidating and transporting onsite to your property.

Antiques Sourcing

It's not so secret... we love antique furniture & vintage decor! If you know where to look (we do!) you can often find beautifully made solid-wood furniture, handcrafted decorative items, and home accessories from across the decades that add detail + charm to period-themed homes. Not to mention, solid oak picture frames or a gorgeous antique maple side table might be only a fraction of the price of a new (worse quality) version from modern home furnishing stores.

If you opt to set us loose -- we'll scour our local antique shops, flea markets, and FB marketplace to find some centerpiece furniture, artwork & decor for your space for less $$ than you might think.

Installation

Want a room (or whole home) completely furnished, decorated, & set-up for you? Clients who want to be as hands-off as possible can hire us to bring our tools & handy skills to fully set up your space for you.

From assembling furniture & installing window treatments, to the fun of unrolling (uncurling!) area rugs -- we're happy to help transform a pile of boxes into a beautifully finished space you can arrive home to, & immediately enjoy.

For clients moving from out-of-state, you can hire us to have your new apartment/home 100% ready for you -- including fully stocked kitchens and bathrooms!

Theme Rooms

Fun theme rooms get our creative juices flowing! Floral baby nurseries & dinosaur-themed bedrooms for the kids? A national park themed home office for a passionate hiker? A memorabilia-decked den for the avid sports fan? Or how about a swanky speak-easy style poker lounge in the basement? We're all about it, and fully here for you.

We'd love to work with you to bring the themed room of your dreams (or your kids' dreams!) to life.

Staging-to-Sell

While we're not a traditional staging company (we do not have an inventory of furniture); for existing furnished homes we're an excellent fit for a budget-friendly staging refresh to make your property look it's best for RE photography and open houses.

With a combination of depersonalization, furniture arranging, home decor, and handy installation services; we can make quick work of the 'low hanging' opportunities to attract more buyers and maximize your sell price.

Perennial Garden Design

Garden Design

Designing a low-maintenance (or zero maintenance!) perennial garden starts with understanding the sunlight, soil type, and moisture level of the area. Our process starts with an onsite consult, during which we gain an understanding of the site and your natural challenges (i.e. deer/rabbits/etc), discuss your goals/preferences, take measurements, and come up with a game plan.

We then provide you with a detailed plant list, which you can shop for, as well as the garden layout to guide spacing.

Sourcing & Planting

Taking your garden plan through to the next step; we can shop for and purchase plants on your behalf -- getting everything onsite and in-place for you or your landscape crew to get planted.

For small residential jobs, we may be an option for the planting & mulching work as well.

Get a Consult

Our consults are typically 1-3hrs, and are completely flexible as to what they entail and how we use the time together. Ideally done onsite and in-person; we come to your property and meet with you -- digging right in on your project needs so that we can share insights & recommendations, talk though challenges/decision points, brainstorm ideas, and even make some decisions on the spot.

Whether you're stuck on how to best furnish a challenging space, or you're in 'analysis paralysis' mode during a big renovation -- hiring us for a consult might be all that you need to get unfrozen and start moving in the right direction.

Consults don't require a contract, or any commitment beyond our short time together. A consult can be a 1-time meeting, or can act as a trial before hiring us to become more engaged with your project.
